Ok, they made a movie based on concepts found in a computer game about flying spaceships that fight the Kilrathi, a cat-like race of people. Too many cliches, and nothing too original. The passable special effects that could've helped the film were overwhelmed by a two-minute trailer for a small sci-fi film that'll be released soon from a company called LucasFilm...
What a shame. Nothing was really that memorable in this film, Except that I'll note they hired Jurgen Procnow to re-do one of the best scenes from Das Boot.
Don't even watch it on cable, unless there's nothing else on! Even then, make sure there's nothing else on, really.
